There are no universities left in Gaza. Al-Isra was used as an IDF base, meaning it wasn’t demolished because it posed any sort of military threat. NPR (and other outlets) are reporting that the IDF looted the university’s national museum before blowing up the entire campus.

With 19 Palestinian journalists killed so far, it's easy to assume Israel is targeting journalists but then you remember they're dropping more bombs in a week on Gaza than the U.S. would drop in an entire year on Afghanistan. It almost doesn't matter if these are targeted, the result is the same.
