Folks, no one has a RIGHT to higher office. OK? You aren't "canceling" anyone when you decide NOT TO SUPPORT THEIR QUEST FOR MORE POWER. Please let's be SERIOUS. This is not what is meant by "no one is disposable." I'm begging people to focus and use your brains. That man can still make a LIVING.

New York Times: If you're gonna crib our headline, you could at least credit Nick Judin and the Mississippi Free Press for first reporting it 2 days earlier. I'm glad this story is getting national attention. But Nick puts a lot of himself in these stories, and deserves credit (just as we'd do).

So why has the @nytimes.com now published two stories following @nickjudin.bsky.social original reporting on Makoka boys without linking to or crediting him or the @mississippifreepress.org as most others have done?? Why can’t “big” media grow the hell up?

I joined NY’s Cutest on the Bergen Bike Bus that they ride to school every Wednesday, rain or shine. We’re adding bike boulevards and more pedestrian space on Bergen and Dean Street, from Court Street to East New York Ave. It was a wonderful kind of day.

Historically, when whyte Americans believe Black folks were advancing too quickly, they’ve worked to destroy our rights. Think about all of the resources that Black people rely upon, which are provided for us by whyte people. What happens when they refuse to provide those resources in the future?

SCOTUS & Republicans are dismantling the legal frameworks that uphold integration. The last time whyte people destroyed integration was at the end of Reconstruction. Black people suffered waves of racial terror for nearly 100 years. What does surviving the end of integration look like today?
