My treasure made it all the way from Ireland to finally reach my very grateful hand. Voidling for scale. I've been worrying about shitty customs fees so, glad they didn't charge me another 30 dollars on an already 30 dollar book. Win!

I ended up getting one more book as a gift to myself T_T A hardcover copy of Watership Down. It's coming from overseas, but it's one of those books that had a huge formative impact on me as a kid and I'd love to have a sturdy, heirloom copy of it to own.

A teal book cover with gold foil accents of plants and rabbits, a golden rabbit in the center, and the title Watership Down - Richard Adams

Wrote about the adaptation of Dandadan's first arc! Its rookie director has shown tremendous commitment to a vision that makes his job more complicated, but grants the series' madness a curious, unbreakable sense of logic. Lots of imagination, filling in the gaps, and navigating tricky situations

Y’ALL! Scientists at Schmidt Ocean just captured this rare video of an open-ocean squid caring for its young. That pearl-packed black bag between its tentacles is a brood pouch, each pearl is a developing baby squid (you can see a few hatch out at the end). Nature is so cool. 🧡 πŸͺΌπŸ¦‘πŸ™πŸŒΏπŸ§ͺ

i actually refused to call myself an "artist" until a year or two ago. so instead i invented tortured lexical disasters like "drawinator" to imply that i drew, but wasnt cool enough to be an artist
