No fucking AI! The examples below were done respectively using: Clip Studio Paint and PaintTool SAI 2 (both using a Huion Kamvas Pro 16); regular bic ballpoint pens, and cheap colored rainbow pencil (on common sketchbook paper, nothing fancy) 2026 is literally my 20th year of digital art alone ✌️

Digital art in colors, mimicking some traditional textures of pencil/paint on paper - waist up of the commissioner's OC (EliosRose Crotato on VGen). It depicts a young ethereal lady with light blue skin and long white hair. She's dressed in billowy robes in shades of dark blue and silvery embroideries, and fingerless black sleeves. Her hair is white but it has a rainbow-like shimmer and highlights. She's looking at us with a soft smile, one of her hands up, a star-shaped crystal glowing above it in colorful lights. The background is a starry sky.My depiction of Xena, Warrior Princess and her mare Argo. In my version, Xena still has bright, light blue eyes and straight, chest-length black hair, but she's a lot more muscular, she has a darker/tanner skin tone crossed with all sorts of battle scars and one across her neck, and she's wearing an armor heavily inspired by Macedonian / Alexander The Great type of armor. She's looking off-frame, with a serious, thoughtful, distant expression. Across her waist, she has a Bulgarian-inspired traditional coins. She's standing in a golden wheat field, holding a xiphos sword with one hand, and the other resting on the muzzle of her mare, Argo; Argo is a palomino horse (golden coat, white, curly mane), and is behind Xena, resting her head against Xena's shoulder. The painting is digital, but style and composition and mimicking traditional oil paintings (Bouguereau, especially) Black and pink ballpointpen sketches on paper. Sketchpage including various drawings of my OC Persie, as an adult and as a kid. She's mixed race (black/indigenous), is fat and has long, wavy-curly hair. She has vitiligo, which affects her body and the front portion of her hair. In one of the drawings, she's holding the hand of my other OC Jupiter as still a kid Two busts in colors, done with colored pencils / rainbow pencil on my sketchbook. Both busts depicts my OC Yanni, a mid/late thirties butch woman with a "shag-mullet" sort of haircut, facial piercings (snakebites, nose ring ear reamer, brow ring), and wearing a button up shirt+tie and round glasses. On the left, she's looking at the viewer over her glasses with an contained angry expression and on the right, she's looking at the viewer with a serious expression.

Seeing this film on the big screen is nothing short of staggering - completed in 1959, it is an unrivalled masterpiece of hand drawn animation, painting, design, special effects, production and scoring. It is a beautiful, weird dream made to astounding standards of finish and care. #sleepingbeauty
