Man, those poor boys and poor woman and dog in Epsom this morning. As someone who lives near auckland grammar I always am remarking at how well behaved and orderly those kids are as they go too and from school. I hate to think of any of one of them fighting for his life and the other two injured

I think a lot of problems between people are made worse when people lead with their guilt over something instead of with their empathy for the impact. Guilt isn’t a useless emotion but it’s an emotion that we should process into empathy and responsibility (or not).

This is interesting because some of these fields should absolutely produce graduates who earn more than someone with no tertiary education so like using tax data to measure that is not at all a bad idea… but the response to the findings should not be cutting off access for future students.

Bringing down the government at this point most likely would mean disrupting the tail end of the government’s legislative agenda moreso than a snap election and with each passing day that gets more and more true

It’s so weird to consider how much of a disability my dysgraphia would have been at any other time in modern history and yet it just isn’t now at least for me. It has been and AI might force it to be again. But for now it isn’t.

As horrific as it is to see neonazis welcome within NZ 1st & openly racist comments from its leaders (as well as all the other bigotry they promote), it’s worth acknowledging that the extreme views they espouse & actions they laud are embedded in aspects of NZ governance & authorities. 🧵 #nzpol
