The Odyssey was very, very good. i wanna watch it a couple more times before saying anything definitive, but i really appreciate how absolutely horrific it made some of the more fantastical elements of the story. The monsters REALLY feel monstrous. it’s practically a horror flick sometimes.

My second entry in my Tama Log is complete! Madillotchi is the next tamagotchi, in the Orange Tropics field. What a cutie! Once she was fully grown, I knew I’d need a few days before I could move on to the next tama. The Tropical field is very lush and full of life, contrasting White Glacier nicely
Pretty early into the new anime season but Kaiju Girl Caramelise is a current standout. it’s shoujo romance meets Godzilla, with a gremlin anime girl with body image issues who turns into a hulking lovestruck monster when her emotions (especially infatuation) get the best of her.

Ah wow I had so much fun making these journal pages. The new White Glacier field is absolutely beautiful, I had to capture a part of the beauty on the second page! I feel so charmed by the new tamagotchis and fields, I hope to continue this tamagotchi journal for a good few generations at least.
tbh aside from all the technical shit I picked up, the most important thing I learned doing the Toxic Yuri VN Jam is that I can push myself to work really hard on things, 12 hours a day for weeks. but also, if I do that for a month, I burn out hard and will crash out and do bad work towards the end.
