I still stand by this. The studio is the main reason shows like SpongeBob could even exist in the first place.
Travis Bickerstaff@bickpixx.bsky.social · 5mo agoYou know, I really wish people started seeing Hanna-Barbera as "the studio that saved the goddamn American animation industry from collapse and revolutionized a new animation industry". But most will just see them as "the studio that made cheap cartoons". Hanna-Barbera was much more than that.
Hidden in the news about the Netflix layoffs is the fact that the only person working on accessibility for their games division was let go.
