I try to read a book or two a month and I’m in awe of the people on this website especially who simply blow past me. But I also realize they are a tiny minority.
Scott Pack@meandmybigmouth.bsky.social · 2d agoBack in my Waterstones head office days, there was some statistic or survey that defined a 'heavy reader' as someone who read six books a year. Which I think acts as a helpful reminder that people who read more than that are in the minority, as are people who frequent bookshops on a regular basis.
