I’m excited to announce my involvement with the score for Guild Wars 3! I’m grateful to be a part of it along with the wonderful Kazuma Jinnouchi and Asuka Ito. Music has always been an important pillar of the GW franchise, and I’m thrilled to help shape the sound of Tyria in this new chapter.

Lately I’ve been experimenting with meticulously recreating famous drum breaks and trying to get a truly vintage vinyl sound. There are no record samples here, just me playing a funky bass line over programmed and HEAVILY processed drums and percussion. My sound design background really helps.

Gamers, help me out. Is it dumb to get a Steam Deck now? I missed the boat several times over and am afraid that between the rising cost and the age of it, I’m wasting money when a better alternative exists or will exist very soon.

Folks, sometimes things don't work out. At least this one won't be buried forever. Getting to write music for a bona fide Myst game was a dream come true for Yours Truly, even if this is all it ended up being. The team at Cyan are incredible, passionate people, and I'm grateful to work with them.

Spent Saturday night on the Universal Studios back lot where they shot the town square exteriors for the Back to the Future movies. They had live actors doing an immersive experience, recreating scenes from the movie. Super fun!

PAX East was a blast last week. Good to be back in my old stomping grounds of Boston for a bit, reconnect with some friends, and make new ones. Hopefully I'll get back next year! Here's a little fun video I made.
