"There must be something rotten in the very core of a social system which increases its wealth without diminishing its misery."-KM Here to remind you there is an alternative. Build class consciousness. Liberation can be ours ☭ Stand with 🇵🇸 🇱🇧 🇨🇺

"Intellectual darkness is essential to industrial slavery. Ignorance alone stands in the way of socialist success. The capitalist parties understand this and use their resources to prevent the workers from seeing the light." -Eugene V Debs #SocialistSunday

Capitalism is, at its core, organized theft. Marx laid it out clearly over a century and a half ago, and nothing has changed except now it's far more relentless and extractive. Though that was inevitable.

Liberals would rather dismiss socialists than take us seriously because that means admitting that their prized "compromises" aren't pragmatic, they're complicit. Deep down, that frightens them far more than the shit status quo ever will.

But according to Bernstein it would appear as though Marx in these words warned the working class against excessive revolutionary zeal when seizing power. A cruder more hideous distortion of Marx’s idea cannot be imagined.

Workers and the colonized must understand the actual conditions of their struggle to act effectively. "Hide nothing from the masses of our people. Tell no lies. Expose lies whenever they are told. Mask no difficulties, mistakes, failures. Claim no easy victories." - Amílcar Cabral #SocialistSunday

Trillions for war, foreign military "aid", genocide, and domestic repression, but suggest something like guaranteed healthcare for all? Suddenly, the coffers are empty... fucking parasites are running the show.

The capitalist state does not exist to save you. It exists to guarantee the extraction of profit and finance the police apparatus when the oppressed dare to organize. The rot is total, the system is irredeemable, and no mere reforms will change that.

The contradictions of capital have reached a pitch so glaring, so grotesque, that even the bourgeois press can no longer mask the systemic rot. Not for a lack of trying.

The crux of the matter is that this bourgeoisie is more afraid of the people than of reaction. The crux of the matter is that this rightward swing has not been accidental, but has been caused by the class struggle between the bourgeoisie and the proletariat.

"We are not communists out of a desire to destroy, but out of a desire to build. We want to construct a world free from human exploitation, where every individual can flourish." -Thomas Sankara

Now is the time to promote real socialism. Stop repackaging social democracy and calling it socialism. The public is receptive to an anticapitalist message and we should be engaging in education and building class consciousness, not trying to save capitalism from itself.

Surveys Show Socialism Growing in Popularity

Forty-three percent of Americans have a positive view of socialism, the highest share since Gallup began tracking the measure in 2010.

We need central planning. Ruling class simps will scream, "but society will collapse without the market." Let them. They refuse to see that market anarchy is precisely what starves millions while food rots in warehouses.
