I had autistic burnout three years ago that was so extreme that I don’t know if I will ever get back all of the skills I lost. What it did change that I finally got a diagnosis and started having my support needs met. I can’t change my past, but my lived experiences can change other paths.

Grew up in rural village of Linville in Great Depression of 1930's. No home had car or phone & there was no doctor within 100 miles. People died as there was no help. We accepted that as part of life. Now we want govt to fall when 000 does not work.

Honestly not sure I understand the person who gave my elderly uncle a bicycle after he had multiple medical incidents that led to him writing off his car. Sadly no surprise he had fallen off the bicycle. Mum found out he was in hospital when she call authorities to do a welfare check.
