While the journey home was the worse part of the adventure, I need to underscore how cool of a place Italy is. I gained 10lbs through good food and wine even though I walked 25-30k steps a day in 100+ conditions. I bore witness to the monuments of early human history and renaissance. Unforgettable!

My clothes and bag are so soaked in Barolo that bag storage wouldn’t take it so I settled with the expensive airport hotel in Milan.
