I was completely stuck on game design. I spent 3 weeks just figuring out how to lay out the foundations. You can read the details here maldock.itch.io/monsters/dev... If you only focus on your expectations, it's easy to lose sight of the things you've actually done; writing the devlog is helpful 👍
For the past two weeks, I've been stuck on development due to inconsistencies between the gameplay and the lore, but yesterday I went for a walk and things cleared up. I should get back to walking; it definitely helps.
The graphics are very pretty, but the game is terrible. You literally have to watch an ad to double the battle speed. Why would you want to double the battle speed? Because they don't really matter 🫤 They're just an excuse to give you notifications to click...
