Hello, I'm Kyle. I publish books and write poems and make digital art (mostly the latter these days). Here's a pixel art rendition of the black hole and nebula at the center of our Milky Way.

Just found this image and it seems like a succinct way to think about how to write alt text for images. Also, writing the alt text for an image about writing alt text is a very meta-activity which I quite enjoyed.

An image that provides recommendations for how to write alt text with the title centred at the top written as: "Writing Alt Text". Below the title, there are words that are in coloured bubbles.
