So, this morning I woke up in Satan’s arm pit. Over 800 wildfires are raging across Canada, and the highly populated areas around the St. Lawrence and Great Lakes regions all have air quality warnings out. When I woke up, the air outside was a thick, foggy orange from all the wildfire smoke.

I find it quite whimsical sometimes that people could be diagnosed with “Go to the Sea.” It’s easy for me to forget that it’s not just a fiction trope (like some of the exaggerations about women fainting) but was actually a real thing until very recently. My own grandma was told to go to the sea.

I can’t stop picturing Claude getting into a “you don’t bring me flowers anymore” arguement with Byleth and it’s just the song Bangladesh. My man wants poisoned mojitos for his enemies! And Byleth keeps not leaving Fódlan with him! And he fought in a holy war for her! Also he misses marzipan!

The game is a far flung sequel (most likely, unless Fire Emblem decides the localize calendars per region in terms of years. After all, they were called Imperial Years, iirc) The year is listed here as 1449 as Cai walks around the hub. As opposed to Three Houses being in the 1180’s

Sothis names her Blessed / children in a very specific way. Rhea was the Immaculate One Byleth is the Enlightened One And now she’s discussing the Promised One. Who appears to be using the still crest stone-less Sword of the Creator, but it’s broken and tied to a stick to be a spear.

As a former aesthetician in a pharmacy environment, I would like to remind people who are going to be out and about at pride to use sunscreen. And people in warm climates who will be celebrating outdoors in various events, drink lots of water and utilize shade to avoid heat stroke.
