Absolutely gutted to hear this morning about the passing of my friend Ernie Whalley. While I didn’t see him as often as I’d have liked to, distances etc, we always had great craic together.

I've just wandered home after a decent night in town and was struck by the amount of colour and joy in the city centre on my way. Then I realised it's the CMAT crowd. More power to her, and her fans.

High profile civil servant Robert Watt is set to become the head of the body tasked with rejuvenating Dublin city centre.

If the AMOC collapses it will be a climate disaster to end all climate disasters, for Ireland especially. It was one of those 'low probability, high impact' events, like ice sheet collapse in Antarctica. Turns out it isn't low probability after all.
