Overcoming an execution barrier, even a low one, means reinforcing your self-worth just that little bit more. Unalienable, tactile proof that you are capable of more than you might have expected of yourself. Everyone needs more of this in their lives, even in "play" activities like FGs.

Dear artists, You NEED to keep in contact with your commissioners. That's right, all of them. If they paid you money, you MUST communicate with them and tell them what's going on. You cannot just ghost someone for months and months after promising a quick turnaround and expect them to be happy!
I am 100% serious when I say that having an optimistic outlook of the future is an effort to maintain when we're bombarded with bad news, horrific actions & constant harm. You have to show up and do the mental work. You have to hope when it looks hopeless. You have to believe people are worth it.

Texas lawmakers literally tried to pass an anti-furry bill. Nazis have been targeting furries forever on the internet. All anti-furry rhetoric is centered around the fact that furries are majority-LGBTQ and incredibly accepting of LGBTQ people, and therefore “cringe.” Furry is a queer subculture

In short- worst case scenario of 4C warming by 2100 is no longer possible, new worst-case is 2.8C now DOES NOT MEAN we just relax- the only way we got here is through hard work- but it means THE HARD WORK IS WORKING
Some people might not be aware, but it is entirely possible that without Dolly Parton we wouldn’t have had a COVID vaccine. She partly funded Moderna’s research and gave the largest individual contribution to make it all happen. Just gives you an idea of the kind of person she was.
