My sister died in a car accident due to faulty parts. The seatbelt, door lock, & airbags all failed. If any ONE had held, she’d‘ve walked away w cuts & bruises. Instead, her head was between the door & the rest of the vehicle when it landed #LikeARock driver’s side down. The cheapest part? $3.00

My passport needs to be renewed toward the end of the year next year. It’s too early to get it renewed now and the felon in office is putting his picture inside them soon for the 250th anniversary. I’m so upset bc I feel fairly certain that his pic will still be there when I go to renew next year! 😭

I can’t stop wondering about what law schools are teaching these days. When I went, we had precedent that mostly held up. But now? What legal principles are they teaching? What cases? Do they tell 2&3Ls that everything they learned in ConLaw has been changed since they learned it??

I fell down my basement stairs and landed on my head a few days ago. I met one of my neighbors afterwards who drove me to the ER, sat w me for 5 hours, and drove me back home then made sure I made it up the stairs (all my entrances have stairs). I‘m very glad to have met my super sweet neighbor.

Infuriating, but expected. I suspect the mail-in ballots had significantly higher “yes” votes in part bc they were mailed before Thiel’s big push w mailers. As to the 2024 election being close, so was this. It’s a difference of around 80k votes & fewer people voted on this than the election.
