My friends keep telling me that Odyssey is really good, and they want to discuss the story with me. So I finally watched it today.

This book completely altered the way I examine prose. It shattered the faded vestiges of the moralistic framework I still saw fictional media through. I feel awakened to possibilities impossible in my writing before. That, and it has given me a suite of fervent queer relationships. Thank you.

As of tonight, WARHOUND Volume One has sold 5000 copies!!!! Which is a completely, unreasonably fantastic milestone that I truly never expected to hit. I've said it before, but I'll say it again: I'm grateful beyond words to anyone who's ever picked up a copy (or encourages others to do the same) ❤️

Critics are calling it "the world's first example of ethical incest" Read today: lunaticker.itch.io/ache-vermin

ACHE_VERMIN is a hurting-healing #toxicyurivnjam visual novel for adults. Broken veteran dog woman does her best to raise a mysterious, equally broken war orphan in an unforgiving world. 19K words of pain and stumbling through trauma. Read free on itch: lunaticker.itch.io/ache-vermin

Screenshot of the title screen of ACHE_VERMIN. The characters are looking at each other fearfully and it's just generally really rancid

Okay but what if you got a bunch of traumatized girls in a prison and one ex-handler? The ex-handler houndifying her cellmates and blockmates bit by bit with hypnosis and social engineering until she can devise a breakout with her impromptu little pack of orange-clad feral dog girls~

"I read mechsploitation because it's hot", "I read mechsploitation because I like the horror of it", "I read it for the commentary on trans experiences" frankly at this point I read it because where the fuck else am I going to consistently get mecha with fully-realized female characters

the main problem with being into mechsplo is that if you read enough good mechsploitation stuff you eventually render like 90% of the broader mecha genre vaguely unpalatable by default purely for gender-balance reasons

Thank you for 450+ downloads on Helleborine! As part of my thanks, here is an image of what I imagine Hellen would look like as she grew older, many years past the events of the game. Thank you for all the support everyone! #toxicyurivnjam

the difference between “wow this author is clearly not into this” and “wow awesome fic I can’t believe this isn’t your kink!” is figuring out a thematic WHY behind a kink. is your angle sensory pleasure or power or comfort or humiliation. that’s how you avoid mechanically going through tropes.

Oh! Some advice to aspiring kink-writers: give kinks that you only kinda like/understand or maybe have no interest in a shot! Not only does it stretch out your creative muscles, but it can help you connect with new audiences, or even make new friends!
