Nothing has made me feel more confident that we are going to publish our game independently than going to a game dev event and meeting with and/or talking to investors and some publishers (I had a couple publisher meetings that were really good and with people who felt real).

I KNOW THE DOCS ARE SCARY But there’s no better way to learn a piece of software. It’s one of the greatest things about these large open source software projects that documentation is plentiful and very high quality. A good 70% of my coding time is spent reading the godot docs!

Struggled a lot trying to move an orthographic camera around cleanly. This seemed like an okay compromise for now.

Switches between perspective for ease of movement, or orthographic for style accuracy.
