BIG DAY. Ostranauts is really cool if you're into spacey stuff, and maybe even if you aren't. Definitely worth getting. Slow-paced, complex/intricate, lots of room for creativity.

Been holding off on Ostranauts until it went 1.0 but it seems like it is a game very much designed for crazy sickos like myself who want super complex diegetic UIs. Very happy.

Had my eye on this for quite a while, picked it up yesterday, and despite some challenging UX / bugs, I think it’s perfect. Finished one day (4 shifts) so far and I can tell I’ve barely scratched the surface of what is in the game, but I’m completely sold.

Like… okay if ARC Raiders had VO very central to the game I’d get people being upset about it, I’m about the biggest genAI hater I know and it’s not disqualifying for me. I think it’s embarrassing for Embark to have done this and honestly would be great to get to turn that off all together.

I’m unemployed which is awesome bc it makes for a very attractive application for finding a flat to move to, no matter how much you have saved you’re just fucked in this case. Funnily enough it’s not even that secure to have an unlimited contract since in my case it ended in just a month.
