How do you feel about hyper local poet laureates? Do you feel that it increases opportunities for the poetry community in small cities or does it funnel the majority of poetry opportunities towards one person?

I've been walking outside a lot lately. It's nice to notice the season changes, etc. This week I noticed the smell of fresh cut watermelon sticks around even after the watermelon has been eaten and the people have gone back inside. Twice I walked by a house and thought someone ate watermelon here.

I just really liked the part in summer house when Kyle and Carl were fighting and Carl's neck vein was popping and he was shouting "Look withinnn" while being held back by producers.

Boy was this singer songwriter based in Nashville surprised when Gov. McMaster called him up and asked him to be SC new poet laureate. Especially since the art commission had already done an application process and created a list of finalists. Finalists that are poets and live in the state of SC.

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

The moon belongs to the poets, not Elon Musk.

Also, if you need to get a passport, expect delays.
