Mangi Molelia ruled the kingdom of Kibosho at the slopes of mount Kilimanjaro from 1897-1900. He succeeded his powerful father Mangi Sina, who resisted the German colonial army, but was eventually defeated in 1891 by Hermann von Wissmann.
