Ice/Psychic is such a sick type combo, I wish I could have it on a Pokemon that’s not Jynx or a Mr. Mime form
26. Pokemon Emerald Rotate
Early impressions of Belmont’s Curse: it’s good. It feels *heavily* inspired by Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown (complimentary)
It’s hard to overstate how small this freakin screen is
23. The Legend of Zelda
Been a few years but I’m not ever forgetting how to mockball for the early Super Missiles
17. Super Metroid
100% completion of Yoshi’s Island because honestly how else are you going to play this amazing game
16. Yoshi’s Island
These games are…so short? I’ve been conditions by my Final Fantasy journey to think every game will take like 60-80 hours
15. Mass Effect 1 (Legendary Edition)
“This one time, we all took bets on whether Longley wore briefs or boxers, we got the table up to 100k. Kerr and I were on briefs, Pippen and Rodman had boxers, it got into yelling and Rodman threatened to kick Kerr’s ass, so Luc finally showed… it was briefs” BRUNO MARS: “damn that’s crazy”
I would never imagine. What were they talking about?
Biffed the final boss sequence a few times, but that’s OK. Still loved my time with this game. Actually took me a few weeks to play the end sequence, because I didn’t want it to end. I love these characters. (Spoiler) the game really punished me for unequipping Aerith before the final battle lol
14. Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth
According to my profile on the website, this is only my second official Four Job Fiesta run, but I swear I’ve done at least one, if not two more. Maybe I just missed the submission deadlines on the other ones. Oh well. FFV still rocks btw
13. Final Fantasy V - Four Job Fiesta
I hope this remake sells bonkers numbers and Nintendo hands the franchise over to this studio for a brand new game
12. Star Fox (2026)
A game I’ve beaten a dozen times, but for whatever reason, Robo’s character arc really resonated with me in particular this time.
10. Chrono Trigger (SNES)
Final Fantasy tier list now that I’ve played every single-player numbered entry Some slight rearranging could happen here but the core story of this ranking will basically stay the same I think
Between Clair Obscur, Silksong, Hades II, and DK Bananza, it’s hard to think of a year with as strong a top four. 2025 was a pretty nutso year for games
7. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
So I’m playing Expedition 33 now, which is forcing me to draw a lot of unfair comparisons to the last JRPG I played. FFXV had bright spots but it’s ultimately kind of a mess if I’m keeping it real I took a bunch of screenshots as I played and I’m going through them again and just kinda laughing
6. Final Fantasy XV
www.microsoft.com/en-us/micros... is it good to build an entire economy and software infrastructure on this
and I only have to wait 4 months for Rebirth!!
4. Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade
At 9:18, 3rd period of the Finland-Switzerland women's ice hockey QF game, the ice crew came to clean the ice during a pause What follows is the funniest use of the slo-mo alternate angle tech I've seen them use during these Olympics of one of the crew members falling
Slowly chipped away at this for a while with the kids when it released on GameCube Online. Still love it, but this playthrough made me more aware of some of its warts. And I’m not even talking about the Triforce hunt section—I actually really enjoyed that on replay.
3. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
FFX-2 is not a good final fantasy game, but it's not for the reasons that 2004 forumgoers were complaining about. The pop concerts were probably the best part. It's bad for plenty of other reasons.
2. Final Fantasy X-2
Points scored in 2025 playoff games: JMU 34 Ohio State 14 Time for a serious conversation about handing out these participation-trophy bids like candy. Bad TV. Safety issue. I just feel so bad for Ohio State. They should have their own junior tournament
