Man, hearing about the canceled zuko movie feels like both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand i would've Loved seeing that story animated. On the other, Im glad we won't have to deal with paramount watering down an sanding down the edges of such a well developed character/world.

Started rewatching Legend of Korra....and man.. it makes me miss good 2D animation so much. I literally cant think of any 2D animated shows these days that have legit, really nice animation quality to them that aren't super simplified cartoony shapes. :(

Finished rewatching ATLA for the first time since it originally aired 20 years ago and.... man, I forget just how great the show is as a whole. I've got a whole different appreciation for it as an adult compared to when i was a teen.
This place is real, but it's also an amalgamation of memories. The way we remember a landscape can be very different from its literal appearance. Some things become larger and clearer, others smaller and fuzzier. 🧵
