I’ve seen many footballers come & go in my >30 years of supporting #Arsenal, and Martinelli’s sale is among the saddest I’ve experienced. He loved the club & fans, gave 100%, delivered important moments, and was a team player throughout. He will be much missed. Thanks for everything, Gabi. ❤️💔😢

Brilliant letter from Stuart Thompson to Jeremy Clarkson about his comments that benefit claimants should write weekly thank you letters to tax payers detailing how they spend their benefits each week.

There is a lot of tension around #Arsenal at the moment. Personally, I am choosing to be positive about this team and its chances. That’s my mindset now, and I’m hoping my son and I can take that mentality across tonight and into the Bournemouth & Sporting home games. COME ON ARSENAL 🔴⚪️

Gabriel & Saliba celebrating 🥳

My son, to me, after discussing where #Arsenal are at the moment, and the febrile atmosphere around the club: “Yeah, I haven’t lost faith in this team; it is still one of the world’s best.” He’s getting frustrated at times with what he sees as Arty’s lack of courage, but I love his attitude 👌. 🔴⚪️

I think there needs to be a recognised psychological condition called Arsenal Outrage Disorder (AOD), referring to the propensity for a person to become immediately and disproportionately incensed by anything that #Arsenal do or don't do. I also think there is a strong epidemic of this at present.

Hey, I am not saying I have found the *BEST* commentary for yesterday, but I think I have (Argentina). 😂 Covers both Arsenal goals, Gyökeres and Max Dowman. I promise you won't be disappointed. 🔴⚪🔊

Re the #Arsenal performance and result yesterday: The thing I keep coming back to is that Arteta’s behaviour at halftime, and in the second half, showed that he clearly acknowledged the mistake, whatever he said in the press conference afterwards. That gives me hope.

Had a wonderfully restorative weekend with my wife & dog, going to the beach & a woodland for walks (well, rolls for me 🦽). Feeling recharged & in a very +ve headspace, with renewed vitality. More challenges to deal with, but I’m ready. Bring it on. Time for another journey of reinvention.
