PC Andrew Harper was killed in the line of duty just seven years ago. Andy Burnham promised action to prevent the early release of two of his killers and Andrew’s family, colleagues and the public he served will be rightly disappointed by the failure to act.

Late shift completed, keeping my clinical skills up! Today I worked with a Nurse who I have known for sometime. I knew he had worked at the Hospital for a long time so I asked how long. He said "I started here October 1st 1975". What incredible service to the Hospital and patients. Huge respect!
