Notice DOJ doesn't talk about its efforts to obtain state voter files anymore. They are 0-20 in those cases and today is the beginning of the quiet period -- states can no longer do systematic removals of names from the voter rolls. TLDR: We won!🥳

Some people have fully accepted the idea that the public ought to be forbidden the information we need to govern ourselves. This allows them to remain infantilized and abdicate responsibility for self-governance. The frantic insistence that the patriarch knows best has a lot of echoes of the Pandora’s Box, Garden of Eden, type of strictures against women obtaining knowledge, for the same reason. Voluntary ignorance is a condition of surrendering your will to another through sublation. With knowledge comes agency, guilt, responsibility, and an obligation to act. This is the real practice of democracy, not just voting.
