Just got off a productive call with the USDA where I learned Ridglan Farms has been told to surrender their federal breeding license by July 1 or the USDA would take official action. They also gave us an official answer on how many dogs are left at Ridglan: 650.
The legal settlement over 300+ alleged violations at Ridglan beagle farm in WI mandates closing down breeding beagles to sell to researchers. But there are 2000 beagles to re-home. WI @widatcp must work NOW with Ridglan to re-home them or the dogs could face dire consequences.
Vote for Chris Taylor today in Wisconsin. Our Supreme Court needs her badly.
Disappointed that the case to fix gerrymandered Cong. maps in WI has hit another wall, as the Court is treating it as a hot potato rather than vital to democracy in Trump era. Courage over self interest is needed. Strongest reason yet to elect Chris Taylor to the WI Supreme Court.

WI’s Congressional maps are very gerrymandered. For a 50:50 purple state, we should have 4 Dems & 4 GOP. Instead, we have 6 GOP & 2 Dems due to gerrymandering. The WI Supreme Court can change that & give us fair maps if they prioritize a case before them. Now is the time!

If @SenRonJohnson tries to get that $1 million corrupt payment that was inserted in the Senate proposal to reopen government, he needs to be recalled. Corruption is making 8 well-connected people eligible for a payday. Sen. Johnson must say he will refuse any corrupt payment.
Remember, the real problems are people like @derrickvanorden, who voted to cut SNAP food assistance and gut healthcare. He is making your life more expensive. He is the one taking food from kids and healthcare from Americans.
I sure as hell hope Senate Dems don’t take two oxen & a goat, with a promise of four chickens in the future, in trade to reopen government. It’s about healthcare. It’s about SNAP assistance. It’s about Trump stealing money Congress approves. It’s about the American people.
