lol. I'm writing a piece atm about how LLMs are mainly good for knowledge management, and that in people's day-to-day lives they just don't have that much knowledge management to do. 'apart from parents', the draft says in parentheses. But not to *this* extent.

i find this kind of interesting because over on IG I've seen a lot of hand-made stop-motion/frame-by-frame animation, which is definitely a reaction to generative AI. But writing doesn't really have the same equivalent

Authors and journalists are doing more first-person (hello 2010s blogging) and embracing "mistakes" in writing to prove they're not chatbots. There's even an “anti-Grammarly" app that leaves in typos and signs off "sent from my iPhone" to create more authenticity: www.wired.com/story/more-t...

A lot of this is just 'huh, I wonder how they did that' questions asked in the wrong tone. Like 'how did they build the pyramids' is a question that could lead to fascinating answers about engineering and sociology of the time, but you say it as 'how DID they build the pyramids, eh' and, pop.
