Just have to love when a shoot exceeds expectations. Was introduced to a newer model in France recently by a former collaborator. Enter Colombian wunderkind, Kelvin. 3 hour shoot multiple looks and a definite would work together again next time I’m in Toulouse

Tried shooting tethered for the first time yesterday. It’s another string in Evoto AI’s bow. Canon R8 to iPad via a TerherTools 10g cable was simple to use. And the ability to do a preemptive retouch on the first image with that applied to everything afterwards was pretty cool. V impressed

Was recently in France pet-sitting (a great way to get a very nice holiday for just the cost of flights & a hire car - accommodation provided by the pet owners). This afforded me the opportunity to shoot in Toulouse on my last day & to shoot with two great models in very different shoots. Catalina

Conflict More experimentation this week. This time in the form of long exposure portraits with multiple flash fires. I've had this unformed idea of duality for a while, and I think I've now found the visual vehicle to explore further. Model: Kaeethe Taken at Studio le Carré, Toulouse #lighting

A French model makes multiple movements in a long exposure frame. Her motions are frozen periodically with multiple flash fires creating a sense of multiple personalities, angst, rage and of conflicting emotions.

On this last trip I wanted to get out of my comfort zone. Raf Van den Bogaert was such a great help. Not only with the use of his studio but also his numerous suggestions for different ways to light things. No man is an island and all that! Model is the incredible @christall4.bsky.social
