Every push to the WTL repository now generates a dev build. These could be less stable, but might have things you want to test/get before it is included in the monthly release. To get them, go to the Actions tab, click the latest dev build run and scroll down to Artifacts. github.com/Marlamin/wow...

Apparently there's a bug on Retail right now that if you use the portal to the Neighborhood or the return portal you Hearthstone gets changed to the Waking Shores. Yeah, not sure how that happened either, but if you are attached to your Hearthstone location, don't use those portals. :D

Without naming the discourse, I have also seen people I think are extremely smart get sucked into using AI for more and more things leading to increasingly lower quality output from them and not recognizing that that is happening. You can be intelligent, but AI is still making you dumber.

Looks like that new PTR build decrypted the barn exterior models. Here's the modular base of both exteriors. Can't be bothered to put them together right now. The Autumnal one might actually work in-game as that is the only one on a vendor, but I only own the Springtime one which is still erroring.

Rough couple of days, very stuck in my head again and sleeping badly. Hoping to clear it up before next week as I need to lock in to take care of a cat for a few days.

That was a great Spider-Man movie, the best one of Holland's so far. Maybe even the best MCU movie in a good while. Marvel keeps going between making bad calls (canceling Wonder Man) and good calls (Gosling as Ghost Rider, Coogler back for BP4). Putting Cretton on Brand New day was a good call.

WTL 0.9.6 is out! Whole bunch of QoL/bug fixes as well as some internal reworks to pay off some tech debt. Notable additions are the (return of the) world map page, transparent screenshots in the modelviewer and the updated settings page. Let me know if there's any issues! github.com/Marlamin/wow...

We're about a month and a half away from BlizzCon. Warcraft franchise expectations: More info on TLT but probably not a full reveal, 12.1.7 gamemode/12.2 reveal, roadmap up to TLT, housing roadmap, Classic+ focus w/ a floor demo and preorders with a release this year, possibly a new Warcraft RTS.

I've been cautiously messing around with WTL's modelviewer that Deamon wrote years ago and managed to add the ability to (optionally) take screenshots with a transparent background. Will be in the next version of WTL later this week. Might be able to do some more fixes/changes down the line.

First time in a while I've slept like 8-9 hours. Had a lot of dreams, some bad ones where I usually give up for the rest of the night, but glad I rolled over instead. Really needed that.

One fun thing about WoW datamining is that sometimes the data that _isn't_ there is the most interesting. It is also much harder to speculate on/talk about as sometimes there's just big gaps where data should be that never gets shipped for dev reasons, ooor it is shipped when future content appears.

Starship surviving a splashdown is a new one. Very cool shots of it just bobbing in the water while technically still being on fire. Wonder if/how they'll try salvaging it?

My PC has been doing this weird thing where sometimes it won't actually sign out/turn off. Either it get stuck on signing out or it won't power off after the screens and such already turned off. Started happening in the last few weeks. Really annoying.

The spoiler-heavy 12.1 placeholder cinematic got a comment added that says "THIS SCRIPT IS OUT OF DATE, IS NOT BEING USED", I'm sure that'll help people not be assholes about it, surely. (Spoilers, obviously)

Void Elf demon hunters also got a Blindfold Color customization option that just appears to be a copy of the Blindfold menu. Not entirely sure what is going on there. Guess they're splitting them up?

New PTR build, more previously shop-named housing stuff making its way to vendors. The other barn room works now. The artisanal room blueprint vendor now also has 2 exteriors for sale and there's a new vendor for Westfall-themed decor. 12.1 music is in the build too and it is a release candidate.

Tweaked WTL's naming page a bit before I lock in for these ~3k M2s that need naming still. Will probably keep doing changes as I go but hopefully this makes me at least slightly faster/more comfortable getting through these.

There is some insane sound design work shipping in 12.1 files. A lot of it seems to be for test spells of massive stone/wood impacts but there's also some more out of this world stuff like "scifi rattles". They're in the files separately but also used as part of actual sound effects, which is neat.

Sweating because this is my first time updating the floorplan builder on the WoWDB Housing Hub (with the new rooms) and I have no idea if this is going to go well. Doing a quick prayer to hope the several hundred floorplans people made remain intact.
