Basically if you coukd fish while mounted, a raft/surfboard mount could effectively do this. Idk enough about the game engine to say about bobber and stuff though, maybe some VFX shenanigans there

Looks like that new PTR build decrypted the barn exterior models. Here's the modular base of both exteriors. Can't be bothered to put them together right now. The Autumnal one might actually work in-game as that is the only one on a vendor, but I only own the Springtime one which is still erroring.

yeah the "I loved ads filling TV space 60% of the watch time" thing is entirely foreign and I did not in fact like the old days as somebody who very briefly grew up with TV. I think people just liked that stuff was chosen for them and they didn't have decision paralysis, but the ads ruin all of that
The other day I was thinking about a few things I'd like in ffxiv that's inspired from WoW fishing and one of them is all the little accessory items like fishing chairs and rafts and bobber you can have. One way they could implement fishing "rafts" is to allow you to fish while mounted / stationary
