Every child deserves a real shot at a good education, no matter where they come from. As a City Council member I fought to make housing affordable for teachers in San Diego. In Congress, I'll keep fighting to fully fund the schools our kids depend on.

Families across San Diego have struggled with rising utility rates. And instead of lowering costs, SDG&E has prioritized profits. I will not stand for this. I will continue to ask for accountability and transparency.

The New York Federal Reserve confirmed what families across CA-48 have been feeling: Trump’s tariffs have made life MORE EXPENSIVE.

I’m relieved that the USS Lincoln has returned to San Diego. But accountability matters. Our military service members endured deplorable living conditions and we cannot let that happen again. When I get to Congress, I will vote to end Donald Trump’s forever war with Iran.
