critical role should have live musical accompaniment
using my email has been so much less awful since i got a more professional setup and started organizing it properly. i used to hate email so much.
I really hate the “I don’t owe anyone anything” mentality because we actually owe each other and this planet a lot. You don’t have to be selfless all the time or burn yourself out but you should be kind and helpful and compassionate to the best of your ability. We need to care about each other more
being a (video) gamer and an RPG designer is so stupid bc all your professional contacts have you on discord and they can see how much time you waste playing bad video games.
You won't catch me posting matrix or terminator bits in relation to real-world AI deployment because that would constitute a reproduction and endorsement of the foundational marketing lie that these technologies ought to be conceived of as comparable to the "thinking machine" science fiction premise

time feels like its moving so slowly for me these days, but in a good way. is this what being busy feels like.
I don’t understand how people can run for office knowing they have insane baggage and/or crimes. Like I spent the entire campaign expecting AIPAC to somehow dig up my middle school livejournal fanfic account. I prepared my family for it. I’m still amazed it didn’t happen.
I try my best to be a good listener to people who are bad at articulating themselves. You lose a lot of good ideas if you only pay attention to people who are good at speaking or good at writing.
As cool as it is to write a novella as a game, the more cool it is as a novella it comes at the expense of being a worse game.

Just watched episode 11 of The Pitt, the one with the ICE agents, and it genuinely made me feel furious and miserable. Those thugs are all going to hell and God will never forgive them.
My next Mothership project (not The Black Box, the one after that) is my first horror adventure where parts of it have been genuinely upsetting to write.
