My brother and I were having a conversation about how the digitalization of music in the 80s ruined music--and when I hear drum machines and synths on some tracks from then I want to rip my ears out. But, this music is still much cooler than AI garbage.

I think some of the best writing advice I ever received was the idea to choose better verbs, and avoid boring language. Not to say that your prose need be purple, but thoughtful. It really blew my mind.

Still working on a book that makes me queezy. This is edit six or seven. Its so personally heavy that it takes a toll on me whenever I edit it.
It depends. I work on this in the draft, and if it needs more attention, i’ll draft another document with a detailed past.

I think this was one of the first horror movies I ever saw. I was really young--like five or six. It took me a long time to look at a river the same way after that. I became pretty obsessed with the idea that pirahnas would snack on my legs.
