More clearly: he is impatient with an illegal war of aggression that he himself started, and in which the attacked party is exercising its right to self-defence, as guaranteed under intl law. He is not concerned about the billions of people suffering due to price hikes and disrupted supply chains.

This conflict shows that Carney is right in his concept of ‘co-operation among middle powers’. The rest of the West must become less dependent on the US in terms of - trade, - supply chains, - energy, - IT and - payment systems, so as not to be at the mercy of the whims of a senile bully.
