About the moment in last night's debate when Sen. Markey didn't understand how we need to differentiate Claude and Siri: re-electing someone who doesn't understand the risks of AI makes no sense. Markey's answer was what my elderly parents would have said.

Seth Moulton@sethmoulton.bsky.social · 8h ago

Without accountability, AI risks repeating the devastating harms of unregulated social media. We need next generation leadership to hold tech companies responsible and protect our kids.

Well, I have to disagree with Fredi Walker on this one. Lynch imperiled the ACA for no goddamn reason when its passage teetered on a knife’s edge, and voted to let ICE disappear people first and ask questions later with the Laken Riley Act. This has everything to do with Lynch personally.

Upon meeting @patrickroath.bsky.social: “Life goes forward, not backwards,” Fredi Walker, an 85-year-old Brockton resident said. “Nothing to do with [Lynch] on a personal level — I just don’t think that he’s relevant for this particular time.” www.bostonglobe.com/2026/08/21/m...

OMG - Ed Markey just showed his age in a big way. He doesn't know what he's using on his phone and ipad? And he wants a new term that will include regulating AI? He doesn't even know how the dangers of Siri and Claude differ.

Let's be honest. The greatest threat to our country today is the rise of authoritarianism, not socialism. Let's commit to a little honesty in our politics, focus on economic growth for the most number of people, and restore a little trust in each other along the way.

I am honored to receive the endorsement of The Boston Globe. When I served in the Marines, leadership meant taking on the toughest fights and delivering results. Massachusetts deserves a new generation of leadership focused on the future and ready to deliver. Let’s get to work.

Ed Markey still hasn't returned the $62,000 he took from the DSCC. Democrats can’t afford to waste campaign resources. Taking DSCC funds to help hold on to your safe blue seat means less money to the fight to win our Senate Majority.

I wrote the Brandon Act so service members can get mental health care discreetly. That’s more important now than ever while the Trump administration keeps turning its back on our troops and stripping away the resources they deserve.

Members of Congress owe voters full transparency about our health and readiness to serve. I’ve agreed to release my health records and call on Senator Markey to do the same. The stakes couldn't be higher.

In Massachusetts, women and their families shouldn't have to cross state lines for abortion care doctors can provide in our state. Today, I signed a law so they won't have to. Real freedom means health care decisions belong to women and their doctors. Not their government.

Governor Healey signing bill with reproductive freedom advocates and providers.

I don’t agree with all Abdul El-Sayed’s views, but GOP “othering” is a disgrace. He was born in US, educated at Bloomfield Hills Andover, where he captained football team; Univ of Mich; Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar; Columbia, where he earned an MD. Debate his views, not whether he’s a “real” American.

Is any high-profile media outlet going to run a story contrasting how Platner was treated by the Democratic Party (run out on rails) with how Max Miller is being treated by the GOP (protected, supported) and drawing the obvious conclusions?

My letter in @bostonglobe.com: During the Aug. 3 debate, Seth Moulton asked Ed Markey a good question: Why would you meet with a lobbyist with relations to Jeffrey Epstein long after Epstein was convicted? I want to know the answer. Shouldn’t every voter? 1/ www.bostonglobe.com/2026/08/08/o...

WIN: My office just won our second lawsuit against the Trump Admin over its illegal attempt to cap funding that helps families facing housing insecurity and homelessness. At a time when housing is already out of reach for too many, we’re protecting billions of dollars for American families.

After 25 years and $2 million from corporate PACs, Congressman Lynch has lost touch with our district. He’s the last democrat left who voted against the ACA. He voted to create, fund, expand, and thank ICE. In just 25 days, we can defeat him. Join us: patrickroath.com

Everything is too damn expensive, and families are getting crushed by the weight of routine expenses like utility bills. Government should be using every tool we have to find relief for people. As AG, I've used my office to save families more than $2.5 billion in unfair utility rate hikes.

NEW: My office found that four Massachusetts staffing agencies were guilty of wage theft and fair labor violations, including denying overtime and sick leave. Now, they have to pay over $800k, including restitution for workers. I won't let any bad actors get away with exploiting our workers.

👏 This is a WIN for reproductive rights! This amendment would have allowed extremist politicians—and their wealthy donors—to quietly place anti-abortion judges on the bench and bring forth a total abortion ban. Thank you to all the hardworking advocates who made this possible!

Kansas voters rejected a ballot measure that would have made members of the state’s Supreme Court electable by popular vote — a seemingly technical issue that had become a proxy battle for the future of abortion rights in the state, Decision Desk HQ projects. https://bit.ly/4c3fG0d

Did you know that MA consumes 22 times more electricity than it generates? This means we rely on imported power that drives up your bills. I'm suing to protect local wind projects to generate our own energy, lower costs, and create jobs. You shouldn't pay the price of Trump's illegal wind freeze.
