Breaking the Enum Habit: Why TypeScript Developers Need a New Approach
There is a lot of talk within the Angular and TypeScript community as a whole about the usage of enums. It seems to be a hill both proponents and opponents are willing to die on and defend harshly. Enums are a commonly used TypeScript feature that offers tremendous value and

With all the thunder going on, I’m waiting for the plot twist, the shoe to drop, and a murder mystery to kick in. In reality, I want internet and power to stay on. And trees to stay upright.
I’m looking for google workspace and gmail replacements. Any suggestions?
You should get a library card if you don’t have one already. Then get the apps Libby and Hoopla. There you can download audiobooks and ebooks. So even if you don’t go to your local library a lot, you can still support them and the authors you love.
Yep. And in a bit of insecurity in the self that can only be fixed through dominance over others.
a lot of all of this fuckery we're seeing boils down to "i don't want to be forced to acknowledge the existence and humanity of people who are different than me."
Nothing beats realizing a better solution to a code problem like after work, mid workout.

Moment of joy today. The snow was amazing! New board and boots took some time to get used to.
Today's OOTD. I'm working on my style and grooving in front of the camera. I got the blues
Last week aha moment. Learning a new web api called… <realizes she forgot the name of it> It is so cool and… <term pops into her synapses> Its called Intersection Observable. Infinite scrolling feature implementation is so much simpler than some JS acrobat work.
I find it interesting how easy removing content from IG vs FB vs Twitter. IG: quick and done TW: got an app to start the process but TW limits how much at a time. Still quickish FB: I may have removed stuff but maybe not. 🤷🏼♀️ Will i delete the accts? Likely not. The handles I want to keep.
Some of you know that I lead many Core infrastructure teams at Google, and one of those teams is Multiplatform development. As such, I've been extremely interested in WASM lately- you've probably heard about WASM's benefits for performance, but did you also know WASM is great at *portability*?
Two of my favorites 💞 - how about you? :) "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." - Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. "Unity has never meant uniformity." – Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Happy New Year! May your coffee be hot, your pancakes fluffy, and surrounded by good friends!
My sister got me the coolest socks for my bday! How cool are these!
The tree is up. Things are getting serious now! Bring on the snow, cookies, music and Christmas spirit! 🎄❄️
Thank you for all the birthday wishes! ❤️. Jeff and I had a fun day out and about. We stopped at our favorite local dinner, Village Square Cafe , and later went to Legion sports bar for some good food. Happy Holidays!
One of my favourite UI patterns is using `backdrop-filter` to create a “frosted glass” effect. When I see this effect in the wild, though, it’s almost never as lush and realistic as it could be. There’s an important optimization that nobody makes. ✨ I share the secret sauce in my brand-new post:
Next-level frosted glass with backdrop-filter • Josh W. Comeau
Glassy headers have become a core part of the “slick startup” UI toolkit, but they’re all missing that final 10% that really makes it shine. In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to create the most reali...

Yesterday, @whitep4nth3r.com recommended Indyx app to manage my wardrobe. Ive used another app with AI but this new one is a game changer.
I’m going to start by recommending an app that I use to keep track of my clothes and outfits that I enjoyed wearing. It also helps to either not buy a thing, or buy a thing that will go with lots of other things. I don’t pay for premium, the free version is all I need. www.myindyx.com
