Proto@protowlf.bsky.social · 2y agoDiscord has apparently added generative AI "apps" users can use to modify any image posted in any discord server. On by default, no way to disable them, no moderation tools. Fuck discord, support artists (discord sure doesn't).
The Met costume collection and the V&A are my go-to sources for historical costume research on my projects, and the Edo kimono collection helped me so much while working on Blue Eye Samurai. Having access to museum archives online is an invaluable resource for artists

Familiarise yourself with the free online collections of museums of which there are several and how to search them effectively
