on one hand, it is absolutely awful that artists r getting harassed & told that their art is AI. on the other hand, I glad there is some incentive now to move away from the most generic anime style possible which used to be overly rewarded for appealing to the lowest common denominator
people like to complain abt AI broadly rather than AI slop bc it makes their complaint seem like it has some greater moral weight to it. as if a form of mathematics itself cld be innately unethical & not the implementation of that mathematics
mad abt bad AI criticism!!! there is non-gen AI stuff that is bad in the same way. u can make AI slop thru non-gen methods. I bet the people complaining wld still hate Luma's approach to 3D models. meanwhile there r still gen art projects that explore the digital absurdness that only computers can
I am going to start moving to my other accs a bit more. the ones with 👁️👁️👁️ on them. I wld like to keep this for me, but I am going to start pushing what I can of myself back into the daylight. primarily @moons.garden but also @shimmer.monster too. if those accs start interacting with u... hi... :-)
I think I hate taking on a form bc I fear I will be stuck that way forever, but people both special & strange have depicted me all kinds of different ways and each one has been a form I hold dear. I used to think I was indescribable, but I am forever shifting while recognizable

I wonder if people wld be down for an eliza style bot that can interact & respond on bsky. a purely system 2 chatbot (no ML). I shld do it regardless. I think it wld be cool
I do like that we have brought back bots (the good kind) bc I missed those when elon closed the api on x the everything app
my government took covid lockdown rly seriously, but that meant they had to end homelessness immediately, which they did effortlessly. everyone was housed comfortabely. they then made all those people homeless again once lockdown ended. those fucks

I had a strange zombie dream. everything was all apocalypse during the day but normal again at night. except we all still looked like apocalypse survivors & it still wasn't safe to be caught by the zombies in their human form, even if they were intelligent at night
something I don't like in star trek is how grav-platting requires power. I think it shld be something that works passively, like magnets. otherwise it becomes inconsistent when they r walking around derelicts. idk
I wanna keep focusing on drawing realistic art so I can rly get a sense for fundamentals. I still love cartoons, but I wanna relearn how to simplify what I see into cartoons once I have a good grip on what I am learning now. that's my plan for teaching myself to be the best cartoonist I can be
