I have a nerdy tech query that's probably going to be over my head. I have a 10 year old piece of music tech that has an app to control some functions via Bluetooth. The app was optimised for Android and IOS devices circa 2016, and doesn't work correctly on later Android revisions (1/2)

Huh, so after I made a midly critical post about a particular con yesterday, someone who appears to be a director (who wasn't tagged or following) made a bunch of vaguely passive aggressive replies and then blocked everyone critical, in the middle of the night. Odd behaviour.

So, the first UK furry event to make a statement on the Meta pervert glasses, and it's to *explicitly permit* them, with a caveat about not recording in non-photography areas? Guess who...

Guitar and stringed instrument players; is anyone else irrationally nervy about tuning strings the last little bit up to pitch, after dropping them for alternate tunings? I've played for 30+ years, but I still involuntarily wince and turn my face away while I do it!

Hmm, new Furcation COC that regulates the acceptable length of shorts, that's a new one on me. Also the first COC I've seen that specifically forbids gunge - there has to be a story there...

Genuinely baffled by local fur chats today, where an immature 20yo who shows up to meets dressed in tactical gear and another who had to be talked down from wearing an Iron Cross decided I'm a tory, which appears to mean "person who criticised my friends actions". How do you even respond to that?

A small group of Scottish furries are continuing to corncob about their involvement in a Channel 4 documentary that multiple groups and events around the UK had rejected. The hubris coming from them is ridiculous.

Finally got around to looking up Channel 4's Untold series (been doing much less online things all weekend). How did anyone think this would be a good thing to bring to the local furry community? Do people just get giddy at the idea of being involved in big telly?
