Being a vessel, Stoatus is also immortal.
They have an intimidating presence, able to strike fear with their eyes.

Stoatus doesn’t condone violence to innocents, and has self-control with who they target.

While technically their kingdom has become a cult, Stoatus upholds their own values into law and how they lead their people.

Themyosan gets their followers, Stoatus gets their people the deserved right of freedom and protection and love.

Stoatus is a Greek variant to the name of Spartacus.

In my COTL lore, its name was given to the bastard child of the king by their mother to symbolize their heritage and belonging to the Stoat family of Mustelids. During Ancient Greek, many Mustelids were separated by sub-species. Weasels were the “lowest” ranking class, hence the term “Weaseling” or Weasel Behavior used as negative connotations whereas Stoats fall under the highest class.

Stoatus’s mother had not been a pure stoat, and had not married the king so she was deemed impure and the child therefore illegitimate due to not marrying.

She didn’t love the king regardless, but did love her child. She wanted them to have a name that symbolizes freedom, despite how their lives may be changed by poverty and lower class.

It’s this very name which highlighted the stoat when they became of age - and after having undergone training to become a warrior for the kingdom - to their birth father.
