Watched Ghost In The Shell ('95ish) for the first time since I've been a programmer. Surprised to see some of the green hacky text when they have that hijacked shell is snippets of C/C++. Well there's your problem, sprintf is right there, notably insecure.

People love historical what if scenarios. What if JFK was never assassinated? What if the Nazis won in WW2? A scenario I never see discussed is what if the aids crisis didnt decimate the gay men of America in the 80s-90s? Its easy to forget 1 in 15 gay boomer men died. An estimated 300,000 deaths-
Checked out a copy of Persepolis from a library in Seattle without knowing anything about it. That book really stuck with me. It has an outsized place in my memory. One of those special pieces of art.

The legacy of his artistry has inspired people to create whole subcultures in the larger miniaturing culture, for artists to try new and personal things, and cemented the vision many have of what Warhammer should look like. One of the greatest to ever do it.
