The SCREEN Act just failed to pass in the Senate Commerce Committee! 🎉 Enormous thanks to the thousands (!!) of you who told your Senators to vote no! Your voice matters and you should feel good that you made a difference. Obviously, the fight isn't over, but this was an important victory.

Meta has made it repeatedly clear that one of their growth strategies is sexualizing kids. Mark Zuckerberg and his leadership team deserve to face personal liability for this, and the company deserves sanctions up to and including corporate dissolution

AES may still be the best "harm mitigation" choice My fellow Jews who live in Michigan, please don't beat yourself up if AES appears to be the best option you have. But likewise, don't feel guilty if you need to avoid talking publically about it

Win by ~1%. Third candidate: 4%. A classic plurality-voting pathology: small splinter groups can be decisive. Every primary should use a consensus-building procedure like approval voting or ranked choice.
