Absolutely. If we aren’t going to do term limits or age limits in Congress, we need a rule about how to handle absentee Congresspeople. It is simply unacceptable to have Americans not being represented in D.C.

Another little rule we should address in the next administration…who knew Republicans would find every loophole to every guardrail for democracy.

I'm convinced that this is just a big a reason for the tariffs as any (misplaced) economic claims: Tariffs give Trump discretionary power, and he likes being the sort of guy who can use govt power on a whim to impress people (in this case), or in return for other favors.
