Anyone heard that Marigold flower juice applied directly to a sty in the eye can cure it? I've seem to remember being told that when I was a boy, but I just wanted to make sure.

I've said it before, but recent images of the hellish visage of Tony Blair remind me. he's committed so much evil that it shows on his face; It's like he is his own picture of Dorian Grey

10 years ago, the legend Tony Benn died. This pic is when he and I were the only two people to turn up at an anti-animal testing event (for Europeans for medical progress that is now Safer Medicines) so we took the opportunity to have our photo taken outside number 10. He was a lovely charming man.

CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY. If you’d like to gift a copy of Who Wants Normal? to someone who needs it this Christmas (but can’t afford it), I’m giving away my last author copy I just found. I’ll sign and dedicate it. RT and I’ll pick an account at random. Ends Wednesday 3rd December 8pm. U.K. only.

A copy of Who Wants Normal? (with its orange and yellow striped cover) stands upright on a small table. Next to it is a small snow globe with a Santa inside.
