I wanted to disagree so badly. But I couldn't unsee how he kept looking down at the teleprompter while giving his speech. He strikes me as a guy who never really cared about the situation, and just hoped standing behind the forces of corporate would be his shield. Then that shield failed.

Found out recently through one of those very friends that one of the primary enablers in that drama got hacked so... Am I to pretend to be unhappy? To pretend I can feel sympathy for someone who blamed it all on me and left an abuser to keep abusing? No. I can't. You get what you fucking deserve.

I should be laughing at the fact that algae is *already* resurfacing in the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool after millions of dollars were spent to 'fix' this non-problem. I WOULD be laughing if they didn't waste my (and your) money to do it.

I often think about how my ancestors would feel if they knew I had a fair-enough, comfortable job with decent benefits and am trying at every opportunity to ditch it in favor of iffy creative pursuits in a time where the global economy is... what it is. They would probably behead me.

I've been playing the cajon at local parks and feeling "connected" in a way I don't usually. Simple pleasures that take me away from the worry and looking at jobs and trying to make a living at creation.
