Moving house tomorrow. Looked out of my bedroom window at the evening view for the last time, and a little robin hopped onto the fence, looked at me, then flew away. My daughter, Robin, was born in this house ❤️

Taking down shelves in preparation for moving next week. Took one of these off the wall only to discover/remember that we, um, painted around it when we last decorated. Screwed it back into the wall and we'll leave it as a gift for the new owners 😬

In one week we're moving house, but we've yet to exchange contracts so technically nothing is official. Buying/selling property in the UK is the most ridiculous bureaucratic process imaginable.

I was lucky enough to work with Oli many years ago and it's frankly ridiculous that he's available right now. If anyone's hiring for frontend engineering roles you would be extremely foolish to miss this opportunity to snap him up.

I'm looking for a new role as a lead frontend/TypeScript engineer. 👋 13 years of experience and I formerly led the web team at Unsplash. My CV: drive.google.com/file/d/1Hp7w... If you know of any roles, please reach out. I'd really appreciate if you could share. Thank you!

Missed my connecting train by 90 seconds after my flight landed and I'm blaming it solely on the guy who got up from his plane seat and made everyone wait while he squeezed several rows back to incredibly slowly collect his bag.

Last day of school. Surprised my kid by picking him up early to take him to the park for ice cream. He saw me, reacted furiously, and insisted I let him go to After School Club so he could play the Monopoly game he'd taken in with him today. Was forced to agree.

Just donated my first proper road bike to the local bike shop to reuse. This thing took me on many adventures, including once around the loch at Etape Loch Ness, and on the fastest 100 miles I've ever ridden at RideLondon. Got a slicker replacement these days, but still sad to bid it adieu.

Some guys in this pub are clearly having some kind of "ugly shirts" night and one of them has a kind of illuminated manuscript short sleeve with pictures of Thomas Cromwell on it and I'm kind of jealous

Horrible new bullshit from the sea every time. It’s never ‘oh we found a new pink fish that is so happy’ it’s always stuff like this, the crush-depth screw-headed dongwongler, and it’s got to have big long creepy bits. Sick of the ocean tbh.

When I saw this cheeky headline on the Guardian I was briefly confused and made a note to check out that unexpected psych-rock direction on Robyn's new album
