Scoop: St. David’s has reached a settlement with the Bernard family in a lawsuit alleging the hospital failed to have security barriers in place when an intoxicated driver drove through the ER entrance last year. The settlement amount was not disclosed.

Another Lone Star Emmy was for our ongoing investigations into failures in the state program meant to help victims of violent crimes. We uncovered that the state wasn't accurately reporting how slowly payments were reaching victims.
